I’ve been working hands-on with keyless entry systems and smart locks for years, and what started as just a job quickly grew into a true passion.
Today, I spend my days fitting, repairing, and maintaining keyless entry locks for homes, businesses, and rental properties, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
How I Got Here
Like most people in the trade, I began working with traditional locks and keys.
But as technology evolved, I found myself fascinated by the rise of smart security systems.
I loved the idea of combining convenience and safety, no more lost keys, no more lockouts, no more fumbling at the door with an armful of groceries. Just simple, secure access.
So, I made the leap: I specialized in keyless entry locks, and over the years I’ve installed, repaired, and troubleshooted just about every brand and model out there.
Why I Started This Blog
Out on the job, I noticed the same things coming up again and again:
- People confused about which lock to buy.
- Customers frustrated when their “smart” lock wasn’t so smart.
- Families unsure how to keep their homes safe without overcomplicating things.
That’s why I started this blog: to share my knowledge and experience with a wider audience.

Every recommendation I make comes from real-world experience.

If I say a model has flaws, it’s because I’ve had to fix them for customers.
This isn’t theory—it’s practical advice from someone who’s out in the field every day.
